Lake of Sorrow
by Roy Aranda
Lake of Sorrow Lake of Sorrow Swelled by tears Your waters are calm, Nary a tear. So blue So deep Can it be? You are the bank Of human emotion? You know my face well, And I yours, For I sit at your shore Every day! And ponder that Which Ive lost, What is no more. Dare I hope For comfort? For respite? Why not? Her image appears In your clam, placid waters. And the smile tells me so, That tomorrow will be A better day. And filled with hope I depart. But Ill return tomorrow, To gaze once again. Lake of Sorrow Can it be? That you hold tomorrows dreams? Perhaps you do For Peanut
