Can't Breathe For The First Time..

I watched you walk out that door,
I didn't know that it would be the last time
The heat of the summer is gone,
and the chill of the winter is here
Every breath I take, and every tear I make
Turns to ice as it hits the ground.
.. I can't breathe for the first time
Everytime I close my eyes, I see your face.
Reminds me that I am alone in this place
Your memory still so deep in my mind,
Makes sanity so hard to find.
Weird how you can watch something change,
and it all seems so fast,
What happened today has already changed into the past.
Photographs of you hanging on the walls,
Everything I can remember ended so fast,
All I have left are my memories.
...I can't breathe for the first time.
