Mama Dog
by Debbie Black
Mama Dog (she got her name by what we called her) she had her puppies under our funeral home building. She would chase our van around the block every day, following us to the restaurants, etc. One evening, she just was sitting outside of our condo waiting in the rain - she had followed us home. She was with us ever since - was already housebroken and a perfect little lady. She was with us for 15 years - vet told us she was probably 1 year old when we found her with the puppies - She was a beagle and rottwieler mix - perfect rottweiler markings but a little larger than a beagle and the beagle head and ears.
