I loved you from the first day i saw you. So tiny, only 3lbs. I held you in my hand, you became my companion and friend for 15 years. I loved you dearly. We had fun playing on the bed with your baby. You learned to talk and answer. You were like a human being to me. I remember when we walked you'd tell me where to go and stop. But you loved the inside, where you could always see me. Then your age and mine slipped up on us and we both got sick. I'd look into your eyes and see sadness and pain. It was like asking me to help you feel better. So, i did what was best for you, even though it broke my heart. I will miss you, so much, my little Sam. And Oh, how you loved your mom, Mary.
