For 7 years hes laughed and loved
time travels far too fast
and now the Rainbow Bridge awaits
with friendships from his past
All the joy that he has known
from games and walks and swim
await him now across the way
beyond the Rainbows rim
He leaves us here to heed a call
above this earths delight
to eat the moon from a silver spoon
and chase the stars so bright
So rest in peace dear merry dog
we send you on your way
to painless days and starry nights
and a loving place to play
