Cases - A Doberman
by Helen Callahan
It was my Australian Sheepdog who brought info focus my feelings about q Doberman. As he tumbled across the room in his deal awkward gait, the lovely fluid lines of a Doberman invaded my mind's eye. I realized then that is is not only the loving closeness of Casey that I continue to miss so painfully, it is also his beauty and beauty's soothing effect on my troubled thoughts. A Doberman's noble head thrills me as a powerful musical passage thrills me; his kind steady eyes reasure me. His body is a great work of art -- so elegant as he stands on long graceful legs in his soft coat of smooth black satin. He stands with such pride and moves with such grace I am overwhelmed with his magnificience. Casey -- a masterpiece of poetry, of music, of art -- a Doberman!
