Nathan and Me
by Chloe Can't tell
Ever since I was born, I was attached to my grandmas dog named Nathan. We loved eachother SO much. We grew up together. He would fallow me around the house, and let me hug him all the time. Me and nathan were always together. I remember his soft shaggy fur, and his deep brown eyes. I talked to him, and we decided to love eachother always. But then, when I was about seven years old, something horrible happened. I was going to show my mom what I made for grandma, but she was on the phone. So I stood infront of her, waiting. She just said, "Oh, aha, Oh dear, Yes. OK. Good bye." She finally hung up. "Chloe, Nathan died last night in his sleep." I was laughing, because I thought it was a joke. I found it was real, and cried until I was asleep on my bed. I usually cry over him, even though I am 11 years old now. I know he is with me always in my heart, and knew it was good he died, for he was old. Rememeber, animals are always going to be with you, even if they go to heaven.
