I've crossed over the Rainbow Bridge I'm now on Heaven's shore I have joined your furry friends The ones who came before. Like them I earned my angel wings By being such a treasure And filling lives with endless hours Of joy, delight and pleasure. I know you miss us very much But know we're not alone We're resting peacefully pain-free Around God's Golden Throne And while we do, we watch and wait Our vigil will not end Until the day we all rejoin Our dearest human friends. (My mom wrote this for me.... I was always better at purring then writing poetry!) |
