I bought my first three guinea pigs when i was only nine. They came from a breeder and were geourgeous their names were Buffy, Saffron and midnight. I made them a huge cage to play with took them out every day locked them in at night. They had lived at my house for three weeks when one night the lid on their cage broke. I thought theyd be fine and left it off. The next day midnight went missing i was devastated. The next night we covered the cage with a blanket but that didnt save buffy and saffy. I woke up early and their were my precious babies lying half eaten in the cage. That morning still haunts me. It turned out that our neighbours cat had been coming over every night and feasting on my pigs. the cat is now locked up every night. The hardest part for me was when mum bought me some more guinea pigs but i worked through my sadness and i now own many georgeous pets. But i'm proudest of my guinea pigs. I began showing them and i now have my own stud. I will always remember you my babies and i'll see you at the rainbow bridge.
