Bruno

My dog bruno was the best dog ever (to me at least). He wasn't the very best dog he didn't sit when you told him to and if he got a chance to run out side to the park by my house then he'd go. but he was the loyalest dog in the world if you needed someone to talk to or to just lay with he was always there. On january 2 2005 bruno spent his last few hours with the people the he loved as he slipted away into the rainbow bridge to wait for us there. The last thing i did when he was still alivewas feel his heart and tell him that he was gunna make it through it no matter what. A few days before his sad passing, i told him that if he was in to much pain to live any more and needed to die that he should and not stay alive in pain just so then i wouldn't be lonely and that when he was going to die that he came to see me before me were to die and lick my hand so i knew what to expect. The night before he died when i went to say good night to as i was leaving he licked my hand. The next morning I woke up at 10am and went into my mom and dads room to see bruno and when i did he was caughing up blood and drooling a lot. My mom got a call from her sister who read somthing in the paper about a dog who had been poisoned and had all the same symptons that bruno had so my dad phoned up the vet to get bruno over there so he could get a shot to hopfully cure him but while we were trying to get him in to the van to get him to the vet he wouldn't get up he wouldn't let us pick him up coz he wanted to die with all of us and not at the vets where he would be all alone and not surrounded by people that he loved. One of the last memory that i have before he died is me saying to my mom that it'll all be fine hes going to be ok. But when i went into my parents room i felt his chest and his last heart beat that he took in his wonderfull life that he had. By the time the vets came to my house to give him the shot he has already gone from all of us to the "rainbow bridge". My brother my dad and my self are going to the mountains Brunos favorit place to he had ever knownw of in his shrot life so we can spread his ashes so he may be happy for ever.
