I got my sweet love kitty when he was a tiny kitten, he fit in the palm of my hand. He loved to sit on my chest and cuddle with me. He would suckle on the collar of my shirt and purr so loud. Oh I knew I loved him but many times in the next 14 years I realized how much this little guy loved me. He was with me thru the loss of a spouse and my children growing up and leaving home. he listened to his Mom cry and comforted me when no one else could. he always came running if he thought i needed him. When i fell in my home, he heard me and ran to try to help me. Even when the paramedics arrived he didnt move and growled to protect me. My husband had to take him from my chest before the paramedics could help me. We moved across the United States to a new home, but even if he was 15 years old, I never thought of losing my sweet Love kitty. I found a small lump on his leg. I went to the vet and we had it removed but few months later it was back with a vengence. Love Kitty was hurting but he never showed it. Finally, I knew the cancer was spreading again and I took him to the vet, I knew it was time to say goodbye to my sweet little lovekitty. I hope he knew how much I loved him, how special he was to me. He looked up at me that day and he was purring, I know he was tryimg to make his Mom feel better. I have a hole in my heart that another cat won't be able to fill, because you see, Love Kitty was a very special Cat.
