Whwn you were born my darling, I held you close to me, I loved you so my darling I said "you're a gift from the heavens my darling", I took you always with me, From school to camp to work, I loved you so my darling, You always cuddled up in my arms, A fell in to a dream filled sleep, I didn't know it would be the last time i held you, As you fell into a sleep, A sleep deeper than any other sleep, A sleep you would not wake up from, I held you so close to me in that sleep, and I cried, and I cried, and I cried, I loved you so my darling, And I forever more will love you, Till the end of the earth and longer By Zoe Drozdowicz Age 11
