My Shinging Star

We have the greatest times together
forever and til the end
Your white and blonde fur is around the house,
But I don't care that you shed.

You have a pretty grass green collar
and a coat of yellow and gold.
You would always make me feel warm,
on the days that I would be cold.

I love how you make me happy
on the toughest days.
I really don't know how you do it-
but you look at me in the sweetest ways.

I love seeing you in the morning,
and when I come home from school.
Some people say its gross-
but I don't care when you drool.

When I need to talk to you-
I know you won't be far-
I'll always be by your side and you the same with me-
But forever and ever-
You will always be my Shinging Star!
