Suzie was given to me by my husband when I was 20. I am now almost 36 and I lost my little angel yesterday. She was so tiny when she was a baby that she fitted in your pocket and loved to be cuddled, something that she never grew out of. She was a feisty young lady who had the heart of a lion and freqently put the GSD's in their places! When she got to 9years I had her tested so that she could go hospital visiting under the PAT Dog scheme. She passed with flying colours and loved it. She also helped youngsters who had had bad experiences with dogs overcome their fear. At age 11years she was stolen from outside my house. Her story made all the local front pages and also the radio with pleas made for her safe return. A few days later she was found by a dustbin man inside a wheelie bin very frightened and injured. She was made better by the vet and eventually got over her fright although she never trusted men again. She was a loving little dog who saw me through good and bad times. At Christmas she started getting weak and bloating. I took her to see the vet and we found she had a mass which was causing her serious problems. There was nothing I could do for her except to grant her peace. I feel that there is a part of me missing and even though I have three other dogs there will never be another Suzie. She is at peace and happiness now. Sweet dreams little one, you will always be a part of me and I will smile again. Lots of love Mummy & Daddy
