Buddy
by Amanda Horner
My cat Buddy was my best friend growing up. We grew up together. He had no mother but my dog crystal who took the job she died though and buddy wanted nothing to do with our new dog. Whenever i was sick he was there to keep me company. He would let me do anything to him. He had a lot of trust in me. When i was little my mom would put me to bed and i would get up walking around the house saying "my kitty" wanting buddy. He was there for me when we moved away and i moved away from my friends. He would beg for food by putting his front paws together going up and down. But he got older and skinnier even though he was eating. I figured he was going to pass away and he did, but not the way i wanted him to. A few weeks later we couldnt find him. Our friend came over and said there was a cat that died and they buried it. They unburied him and it was Buddy and so we buried him in our yard so he is back home. But I always think about rainbow bridge and that he is better and is with crystal again waiting to see me again.
