Thank You
by Dan and Sharon LaRose
Our friend and companion for 13 1/2 years had to be put to sleep Tuesday October 26, 2004. Hooch, was a boxer. The Vet called him the "Gentle Gaint". Everyone who met him fell in love with him. He was so gentle and loving. He had a rich and full life. As Hooch aged he had medical problems. Fought cancer, Arthritis, eye infections. But not one time did Hooch ever let go of his pride. He would stick his chest out and point those ears up as if to say, who are you. Then he walk up to you as if he was saying. It's ok. My bark is worst than my bite. In September we discovered Hooch had congestive heart failure. We knew the time would come when we would have decide when to let him go. So, many nights my wife and I would cry talking about deciding when. In trying to decide, I was searching the net for anwsers to help us. I found Rainbow bridge. Reading the poem and stories we knew we were not along. Our beloved friend and campanion Hooch is now at rest. He was waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. Thank you, Dan and Sharon
