My fiance at the time, drove me to pick her out. It was so hard to pick one, but one kitten kept coming back to me, so i knew she picked me. She weasled her way into our hearts the first minute we had her. Her name was Peaches. My fiance picked that name out for her. She was feisty, fun, curious, everything a normal 6 week old kitten is. We had her for over two years. She was our little girl. The hardest day of my life was taking her to the vet knowing she was going to be put down. I cried the whole way there. Everyone had said their good byes at the house. My fiance and little boy both told her good bye. Our little boy didnt know what exactly was going on. He knew mommy was taking his cat and that his daddy and i were both extremely sad. I kept thinking if only we hadnt left to get married she wouldnt be this way. We had gone to TN for our wedding. We were gone for four days. The back door blew open, and she went out. I knew when i got back that she was okay, back in the house. I thought she was going to be that healthy, happy cat that we had left. But i was sadly mistaken. Before Peaches, left us she had a litter of kittens. They were all gorgeous. We knew we were keeping one, but didnt know which one. Peaches helped us decide. I think she knew in her heart that she would be leaving us too soon. We picked out her daughter Halo, who is alot like her in so many ways. The day she was put down, i came home crying upset at myself. was it something we had done wrong??? Peaches, you are always in our hearts baby girl. We miss you terribly though. Each day is still just as hard as the next. Your little boy asks about you all the time. He is still having problems with not having his "cheches" as he called you. Thanks for always being a wonderful cat to us. Thanks for always loving us and letting us love you in return. I know you are at Rainbow Bridge waiting for us and one day we will be there with you baby girl. Just know that you are missed and we love you still to this day. It has been over two months now, and we still expect to see you when we walk in the door. Till we see each other again Peaches, know that your family misses you so and we all love you..have fun peaches and dont worry about us. I know how you are when you sensed things werent right with "your humans" You had to be the one to make us feel better, even if it was just jumping in our laps and purring. Your daughter asked me to tell you that she loves you and that she is taking care of us really good. We love you Peaches!!!!
