Save my Clydie
by Lila Wedan
The smoke was thick in our burning house,
hoping I'd see you thru the blazing flames...
All I could do was call your name
The smoke was choking,
The flames so very hot.
I had to leave our burning home,
ONLY IF I could have seen through the smoke and flames...
LEAVE YOU,
I would have not!
At the Firemen
I yelled and yelled at the top of my lungs Please save my fur baby!
IT was too late...

I'm sorry.
I do have some peace,
You did not burn in our home that day,
I saw a fireman carry you away!
RIP CLYDIE
I LOVE YOU,
YOUR MOM..
