My Puddles of Honey
by Sherry McDowell
I had a beautiful fur friend named Puddles, not because she made them but, because her ears looked like Puddles of Honey hence her name. Puddy was with me for 13 years 4 months and 10 days, which was not nearly enough. I purchased Puddy in 1991 and fell in love instantly with her. She never barked due to something that happened before I got her. She was the only girl in the litter of Lhasa Apso puppies. Puddy always had one health problem or another, I caution everyone to watch the breeder they buy their puppy from, though I would not change anything for me I would for Puddy. Puddy was a joy,she was a tease and a true angel right here on earth,I cannot possibly say how much this little fur person meant to me,Puddy succombed to heart problems on October 11,2004. I was there to hold her when the vet put her to sleep this process nearly took the heart right out of me there are no words to explain the feelings I had. I was releived that this little dog that had given me soooo much was no longer in pain, but there is a loss in my heart like nothing I have ever, ever felt. Love your sweet babies while you can! Good bye sweet widda dog! Mommy will see you on the other side of that bridge, I love you Sweet ,sweet Puddy Girl! I love you my preciuos baby! Until then you play and have fun with all the others!
