Rainbow Bridge
by John McKee
Rainbow Bridge Just on this side of Heaven Theres a place our pets go To romp and play after they die. Its called, Rainbow Bridge Filled with trees, shrubs and flowers In a garden landscaped in the sky. The frisky pets there are happy Playing with one another Without ever a fight breaking out For theyre having such fun Playing ballchasing Frisbees Gods Angels toss to them about. They eagerly wait for us there, In Gods lovely garden Free to run without wearing a tether. Theyve been told well come for them When our time here is through And well cross Rainbow Bridge together Well run right into Heaven Where our loved ones are waiting Friends and family who crossed over before. There Lord Jesus will greet us Welcoming us to Gods Kingdom To live blissfully with Him evermore. Poem by: John McKee March 14, 2005
