I was in Illinois for 4 of July visting with my grandma and we went to see all the pretty firework on the night of Independence Day. My mom and dad went home the next day and my sister and i would stay a few more days with my grandma. My mom called the next day at about 12 or 12:30 and was crying on the phone and told my grandma that Bart had died. They were on a walk and Bart is always in front of everyone he liked to lead the way but for some reason he was behind today and was going rather slow. They were walking by a cemetary and then Bart had just layed down and died right there. So my dad went back to the house to get the truck and came back and put him in the back of the truck and took him out to my other grandma's house in the country. My mother was crying the whole time. When my dad was buring Bart he started to cry. My dad and Bart were very close you know how they say a dog is a mans best friend well my dad and Bart were more than best Freinds. When i heard that my dad was crying when he was buring Bart i cryed even harded. I have missed Bart ever sence the day he died and i will never forget him. My dad thinks it was a heart attack but we will never know for sure...
