My Dear Perdita

Perdita was one of a kind. She was a beautiful little girl so full of life and love when we brought her home at six weeks. We made it through the terriable twos and as the years passed by Perdita became my constant companion. We understood each other without a word being spoken. Two years ago I had a heart attack and stroke and she stayed by my side giving me her unconditional love and loyalty just as she had all her life. In April, she was not feeling well so we took her to her vet. That was when we heard the horriable news that Perdita had Cancer. We only had five weeks together after that, but in that time we cuddled, I sang her favorite songs to her, and just spent alot of quiet moments with each other. Perdita passed away in my arms on June 19th. My Heart will never be the same because when Perdita left she went with a part of my Heart to keep with her. I will always feel the pain of loneliness for her but I also know she is at Rainbow Bridge healthy and free of her illness. Sleep Tight, My Little Teeter, Mommy loves you with all her Heart
