Letter from Doggie Heaven
by Lyn Scarrow
A LETTER FROM DOGGIE HEAVEN Woof, Woof To my Buddy Bill, Ma, Amanda & Bianca, & my cranky old brown doggie pal: Well, I made it here safely. You should see this place! There are endless fields of the softest green grass it is so soft ( you will not believe this but I can even walk & run on it, & do my best rollovers), It smells good too no one has even done a doggie doo. We also have paved areas for those like me who do not like the grass between their toes. There are a lot of my pals here that I met over the years, all on for a good gameno one ever growls & everyone is so happy, I have smelt a lot of familiar tails, & they remember my tail too. You can not imagine the foodyou just think of a juicy lamb bone, & prestothere it is in your mouthYou think of a T-Bone steak & its there before youYou think of a crunchy biscuit, & there it isYou only have to have the thought & there it appears!!! Plus, all day every day there is a smorgasboardwith every treat imaginableThis place is unreal! Woof! The kennels are so comfortable too. Some have been here for a very long time, and of course have lots of tails to tell. Others, like me only arrived yesterday, so us newbies get to be shown around & taught lots of new tricks. I have also taught them my trick of saying please. It is so much fun. All my aches & pains have disappeared & I feel like new, so dont you go worrying about me. Tell the brown doggie there are lots & lots of balls up hereI have even been chasing them! Also tell him there are no storms to be afraid of. Sorry I didnt get to say goodbye to you all, but you know that I wanted to. Thank you for looking after meI had a good life with you & I felt very loved. The food was great (I would have liked more bones though), our games were fun, and playing in the water was so cool. I also liked my special treats,& brushes. Thank you for setting me free so as I could come to this beautiful place. I will stay here forever. So, when it is your time to go, and you get up here, just make sure you call my name very loudly (as I could be out playing in the field) and I will find you, and then we can all have fun together again!!! I will be waiting for you. All is well. Lots of love, Licks & tail wags, Satchmo XXXX
