BONNIE BELL
by Amy Tussing
Your brown eyes, short fur, perked ears Always consoled my worries and fears, Your tongue often licked away my tears, Bonnie Bell, you were such a dear. To you, Death would come, never- You would live forever and ever But my dear, you had cancer, You were in pain, How I cried in the drizzling rain. Bonnie Bell, three days before Christmas, You passed away, But still I'll remember you, always.
