Nitro's Last Ride
by Paul White
Nitros Last Ride Love is blind when you leave behind. The "reality" his time has come. Just the thought of losing him makes you feel so numb. You see for years he rode with me everyday, up and down the highway. These past 2 years he's not with me. He's been at home with Tracey. I even made a ramp for the truck. He wouldn't use it... no such luck. He is young at heart it beats so strong. It's his feeble bones, that is whats wrong. He moves so slow, I can feel his pain He lives to exist and that is a shame. At 6 years old he was struck by a car, it is truly amazing he has come this far. Now it's time for you to roam free, we must let him go with dignity. As we sit here with you on the hospital floor, your heart stops beating and you breathe no more. This dog we LOVED for almost 14 years, now he is gone as we fight back our tears. We know in hearts we did the right thing, for our #1 copper king. R.I.P. "Nitro" a.k.a. CH. GAIL-DONS BLUE FYRE 11-16-91 04-22-05 By Paul White
