I was laying in my stable looking at the wall,
then my stall door opend someone was standing very tall,
he held out a rope and told me to come neer like all good donkies i
did as he told
I walked over to him just staning there he put the rope around my neck this wasent fare I did not feel like going out in the cold
all the donkies were asleep as I had been told
he walked me out the door very jently not real harsh he did not push or pull
when I got out the door there was a lady lying on the floor in the cold her belly was real big my owner said look at that theres a little man in there
will you cary her for me two bethlaham
she got up on my back a man raped a blanket around her
then he took the rope from my owner and led me down the street as I past the stables all the other donkies laft at me
they said that I was silly going out in the cold for a human but I new what I had to do I stood up hi and walked down the rode I felt sorry for the other human the male that had been so kid to me we walked on and on for days now and then we stoped and he gave me a drink soon we came to bethlaham the lady felt really sick as we walked down the street no one even glansed at us no one came to help the lady I walked faster then we stoped outside of a house the man tied me to a tree he went inside then he came out with a lady I could hardly under stand what he was saying but he talked to her with a sad voice then I under stood a word she said "barn" the man sied and untied me and walked me to a barn I did not understand what would he do with the lady we walked in the barn and lade her down on the hay I did not now what to do then he poored the water out of the trough and poot some hey in it then he took the blanket and put that in it to I still dident understand then I remeberd my father saying there was a man in there
she was going to have a baby then I under stood I went out side and founed a stream when I came back I saw somthing glowing there was a huge star over the barn bigger then any I had ever seen and there was an angell over the barn she stared at me and I stared at her
I went inside remembering the lady when I came in i heard crying there was a little boy in side the trough coverd with a blue blanket the lady was asleep on the hay then man patted me and said thank you
then the lady woke 3 men walked in with gifts for the child they pated me and addmierd me then the man said go home little donkey i did 5 years latter there was word of a little boy who was blessed when he walked down the street I saw his father and mother it was the man annd lady the little blesed boy came over tm me and patted me all the donkies asked me to forgive them for laphing at me then he patted my hed then the man came over and patted me he said you carried that for days you are my hero
