Home where you belong

Eddie, my handsome doberboy,you finally came home to us yesterday nearly two weeks after you left us to go to the bridge. It was a beautiful sunny day,just like the day you came to us at 5 months old,all floppy eared with huge paws that you stomped all over our hearts with. We had such fun together the four of us,every day was an adventure with you & all your clownish behaviour. How you loved to run down by the river & lay down in it on hot days so you could cool down, then off across the fields to chase those bunnies. You loved hot sunny days & would like nothing better than a walk up the field to find a nice smell to roll on,waving those ridiculously legs in the air,grinning all over your face. You knew who loved you & you loved them right back,not giving the time of day to people who were scared of you.How could they be scared of you, you were such an old softie.You loved cups of tea with unky phil & used to go mad with excitement at the sound of his bike coming up the road cos you knew it meant lots of fuss & cuddles & of course his cup of tea!! We all love & miss you so much & would give anything to have you here with us with your big floppy ears & your huge paws sitting on the settee with us in your favourite place having a cuddle. And so yesterday we bought you home,down the road past the fields & the river that you loved so much.Home to mummy daddy toni shane & missy. Back where you belong. |
