Alison..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Gussie is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. I am sure that Gussie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

I'm so sorry to hear of your baby's passing. It breaks my heart that you feel guilt for doing the humane, loving thing. The right thing is often the most difficult and I know Gussie is proud of you. I recently lost my 18 year old cat, Fred, who I know is befriending your Gussie as we speak. You are not alone in your grief. You are in my thoughts.

What a beautiful boy! My prayers go out for you in the loss of your precious Gussie, and I thank you for your sharing those loving memories with us. We must never feel guilty for freeing our fur babies from pain by sending them to the Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Gussie, you are truly handsome. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angel's wings. Dear Alison, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Gussie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Jackie, Callie, Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Gussie will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Jackie at https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/JACKI010/resident.HTM

I am so sorry for your loss of Gussie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Gussie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Gussie and they’ve become friends. May the love you shared with Gussie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Gussie, I know that during your lifetime you gave Alison much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what Alison wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Gussie, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Alison, I just visited your Gussie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Gussie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Gussie. wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)>

Alison: When their quality of life, as shared on Gussie's memorial page was compromised by illness is when we have to make that decision to let them go in love. This was the last act of kindness your sweet boy will ever know. Please try and switch guilt to joy, which can be so destructive in the healing process. Genetics, disease and time are things we do not have any control over and if we could have them live forever, it still would not be long enough. With sincere sympathy in your time of need... The cyber vase of flowers resembles Gussie's lovely curls.

Dia dhuit handsome Gussie, welcome to sunny Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mhamai loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mhamai feels your loving presence and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes for you one day to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mhamai so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mhamai always, beloved sweet Gussie. Slan go foill! Pressy's Grandpa
