Crying and smiling at the lovely and heart tugging memories so beautifully written anything Spike. He reminds me of my Remy, my current and first own dog. I can only hope that he has a life like Spikes, so clearly and abundantly full of love and strength. My heart breaks at the pain you're now facing, but I know all your furry angels to be still by your side, gently reminding you of all the love that has prevailed throughout the loss. Laura, this is such a heartfelt and beautiful tribute to Spike. I wish that I had been able to meet him in person, as I'm sure I would have loved him so much. Laura, What a warm, adorable and caring display of love and celebration of the spirit of Spike...one that brought you years of love, smiles, and companionship!! When I lost Smokey, my minature german shepherd/dachshund I can truly say that I shared the same connection with him that you shared with Spike. The memorable moments in time that he brought to be will never be forgotten as long as I live. I truly feel that we will see our little loved ones again someday and look forward to all the hugs and kisses!!!!
