When I went to see the litter of puppies you were a part of, I first had my eye on one of your siblings. But he wandered off to the side to play on his own. You kept jumping up at me, more than any of the others. So, I took you home. You chose me.

Your favorite foods were: eggs, broccoli, and ham.
- I had eggs for breakfast almost every morning. I'd share them with you.
- It surprised me that you loved broccoli. I went out for lunch almost every weekend. I'd save some broccoli for you, and as soon as I got back home, you'd bark at me until I gave you some.
- You really loved ham. I always joked that you would trade me for a piece of ham. I'd ask you: "Archie. Where iiis theee... ham!?" While whining and barking, you took off to the kitchen, making sure I'd follow you, and then jumped at the fridge until I'd give you some.

You were so smart. You learned so many tricks. I was so proud of you, and you made me feel proud of myself too...
