Memories of Bella
Bella was a great cat. Knew exactly when it was time for her wet food snack. Always at the door meowing when I got home. Chattering at the birds outside. Sitting in the bathroom sink. Waiting on my bed when I got out of the shower. When I picked up the hamper, she knew to run downstairs to the laundry room. She would sometimes jump in the warm dryer when I was folding clothes. She loved sitting on top of dryer when running. Curling up on my lap. She always wanted to go outside so I got her a mesh tent and tunnel to sit with her outdoors. I had to be there with her, or she would meow to get back inside.

She developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Apparently, all cats have the corona virus in them. Most shed the virus when they are kittens. On very rare occurrences the virus mutates. And it is usually in kittens and cats less than a year old. Mine was 5. So, very rare. I am so sad. After euthanasia I learned of a possible cure for them. Now I feel real hard guilt. I wish my vet would have told me about this drug. It isn't available for feline prescriptions in the United States but can be purchased. I am bummed now.

She will always be in my heart. Forever and more. I love you, Bella.
