Memories of Bernadette Brannon
My dearest Bernadette has gone over the Rainbow Bridge today. Anyone who knows me well, knows how this is going to affect me. Bernadette has been by my side for 17 years, since about 7 weeks old, with her front paws perched on my shoulder. It's where she was happiest. This where she was content. This is where she spent the last few hours we were together. I'm not sure how to go forward without her there, but I must, with the knowledge that her spirit will be forever perched on my shoulder wherever I go. Rest peacefully my sweet Bern.
