Boris came to us as a 3 month old kitten. He was the most gentle, good natured and loyal cat we've ever known. He was very perceptive too. On many an occasion he showed sympathy and concern for us when we were upset. He was very patient too. He tolerated our bizarre collection of animals, including, reptiles readily. About 7 years ago, Boris was diagnosed with kidney disease. Our wonderful vet was amazing and prescribed him a medication which literally saved his life and allowed him to live to the ripe old age of 21.5 years. Unfortunately, the time came when he was suffering too much and we had to ease his discomfort. Despite a period of suffering and mourning for us, Boris gave us 21.5 years of joy and will always live in our hearts. We comfort ourselves knowing he is at peace and has renewed health and vigour.
