Ventura California: Bruce the dog was a stray, be came homeless with a family who was homeless had issues while being homeless and the Ventura Co Animal Shelter took him and housed housed him for 125 days. Caged in double bars, Legal issues and he had several Stays because in California we have some laws. Many of us visited him brought him treats. yet he was not allowed any time out of his cage. He weighted 160 pounds. We fought protested spoke yet nothing or nobody did anything lawyers tried but it did not come to pass. He was killed by the Shelter today at 1:00 p.m. alone they did not even have the time to call the family. The family of Bruce was not allowed to hold him even after they killed him. They have been thru all and they are loving people. We love you Bruce forever! Fly High and meet all our animals they are awaiting for you. Run forever playing with toys. Your paws will be clean and smell of Lavender Flowers you have arrived to rainbow bridge and you will be awaiting for us all at the gates. Dog Angel you are no pain no worries just love, our beautiful big boy. All the people that spoke for you, protested for you loved you gave you treats. We love you with all our hearts and a piece of our hearts went with with you today, Bruce you were very special and you will be all of our angels forever. Your family is so sad so when you can come visit them and give them one of your Bruce's Kisses. 8-15-2026: The group is silent in shock of your passing. I wish I was there for you but they killed you in a way no living being should have to go through, that is what hurts me so much. I love you so much yet I never met you just heard stories about you from your loving Mom and Sis and Dad. I love your family and I hope in the days to come you will stop by and visit them. I know you will King of the Universe. You have no more pain or suffer . I think of you at night no more cold cement. Everything we tried just left us without you BRUCE. I don't hear from any of the group or nothing I would assume it was all based on money and your life was taken due to that. Yes you bite but where was your rescue? No checking in so you could get to a place safe NO they left you rot in a cell for 6 months I would say that animal cruelty I will not mention the names but I know know what it was all about it makes me sad to think you were in the middle of it all and if it was not you another dog would have taken your place, I have washed my hands clean if this shit and pray for your MOM Dad and Wy and hope they can come to a peace in their lives. I know I can. Sometimes it helps to be a gifted person to see what goes on and to understand it all after the fog leaves us. I will never forget you my King and I carry your name with you in my heart. You taught me so much in the months I tried to safe you but I think you were ready to go and do other types of work with God. Your spirit is in my heart all mightly Bruce forever, you were there day after day and never once did you complain. I am sorry for that I wished I could have helped but it was and is based on money by a rescue and hoping someday it will be all opened up. St Francis hold your clean paws and helps you every day. Run free my King Run free. love Nancy So many questions I have for you Bruce, why didn't SPARC take care of you check up on you and make sure you were o.k. The family did not know what to do and SPARC should have helped you would be alive today. But I think you were ready to go I think your time on this earth was short and you had to show that you are the magical King that came back. You helped me thru so much and today you are helping me walking besides me and knowing you are NOT IN THAT HELL HOLE give me PEACE BRUCE. PEACE IS what I have these days, I wear your name on a dog tag and so walk to express my concerns but you told me NO! I will follow your lead because it was all about you saving you. That Hell place will ever change it will never become a flowery place where dogs can run and get adopted groomed and help. I know that because you showed me. That night 8-11-2026 when I saw the road become a dark death road I realized that place will ever be good. The soil is damaged due to all the killings including yours! Hell opened that day and the Ravens heard and it will be done. So be it my Warrior my King Bruce 9-12-2026
