Memories of Buckeye and Rizzo Sherman
Buckeye and Rizzo were sweet, kind hearted, loyal dogs. Rizzy knew what you needed when you were sad. Bubba always knew when you needed a kiss. Rizzy would slap you with her paws if you didn't pet her. When Bubba was angry, he would take "Monkey" and practically shred him to pieces. Rizzy had a polka-dot collar when she was a puppy at the breeder. Bubba was called "Blue" because he had a blue collar. They enjoyed carrots and kale stalks. Our yucky veggies were cheesecake to them. They would especially perk up when they smelled chicken. One time, we bought a jacket for Bubba that made him stop barking in the rain. It was called "Thunder Jacket". It did NOT work. He was barking like crazy and running around like nuts. Rizzy would always yelp for Mommy when she missed her because she needed her mommy to comfort her. Bubba would always lick Daddy and Piper's face off. Bubba sat on top of the couch pillows and smooooosh them down. To this day, the couch is still distorted... Mommy would put Rizzy in car seats and strollers and take her around laughing until our eyes popped out! One time on vacation, there was a three feet tall drop from a porch on an Airbnb we rented, and Bubba walked straight off it! And, he even landed on his head. He was fine. But still, haha. They would sleep and cuddle with us for hours. When they were born they weighed 9.2 (Rizzy) and 7.3 (Bubba) ounces! When we evacuated because of a hurricane to Kiki and Papa's house, it was pouring outside and Bubba, well he decided it would be a good idea to run out there and explore. In the end, we found him, but Kiki did have to chase him down. we would call Rizzy: Booby, Boobear, Rizzy, (good) gyrrrlll, and Wizzy. We would call Bubba: Ding Dong, Ding Bat, Clown (Town), Bubs, Bubba, (good) boiiii, and finally, Idiot Boy. Below is a letter from Piper to the puppies.

Rizzy and Bubba, I love you so much, you can't even comprehend it. Go run around and have fun in meadows, when we join you one day, we will rejoice happily together. Wait for me around the rainbow bridge and we will meet. You mean so much to me, and have been with me since the beginning of my life. You will be in my heart forever! You are my precious puppies and I cannot stand to see you go this early. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know, dear how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away." "Come stop your crying, It will be alright. Just take my hand, hold it tight. I will protect you, from all around you. I will be here, don't you cry. For one so small, you seem so strong. My arms will hold you, keep you safe and warm. This bond between us
can't be broken. I will be here don't you cry. 'Cause you'll be in my heart. Yes, you'll be in my heart. From this day on, now and forever more. You'll be in my heart, no matter what they say. You'll be here in my heart always, always." <3 Love you so, so, soooo much babies.
