Cow, my beloved baby girl, crossed the rainbow bridge after eighteen long years. She was more than just a cat; she was a member of our family, a constant source of love and companionship. Her gentle nature made her a favorite among children. Patient and kind, she always tolerated gentle strokes and curious pokes. She brought joy to my nieces and nephews, teaching them about the gentle nature of animals. In her younger years, Cow had a zest for life. She loved car rides, her eyes wide with excitement as she explored the world from the car window. We often joked that she thought she was a dog, so eager was she to join in on our adventures. She was always by my side, my little shadow, a loyal companion who brought warmth and comfort to my life. Even though she was primarily an indoor cat, Cow had a love for the outdoors, especially the back deck. She would spend hours there, basking in the sun and watching the world go by. She never left the deck, finding peace and contentment in her favorite spot. The pain of her loss is felt by all who knew her, but it is especially acute for me. The void she has left in my life is immense, and I miss her dearly. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. I know that when my time comes, she will be there at the rainbow bridge to greet me. Until then, I will cherish the memories of the wonderful times we shared. As Cow embarks on her journey to the rainbow bridge, let us remember the joy and love she brought into our lives. She will forever be missed, but her memory will live on in our hearts. |
