The first thing we noticed about you was how beautiful your long orange and white fur is, and how you had a white heart marking on your back, then we noticed you also had an orange heart marking on your arm. So it was true, you had stolen both of our hearts the moment we looked at you, and we already told you that you can keep them, my sweetest baby angel ♥

We wrapped you in a blankey and went out to buy you formula immediately, you drank every drop from your bottle so quickly you bit the end off your bottle and we were like whoa! ♥

The next day me and papa got you some wet food to try and you loved it in the first bite, gobbled everything in your bowl down, even tried to chomp the edge of the bowl a few times, taking your big bites ♥

Going to Papa's house, climbing around the bed, playing with papa's hair, snuggling right between us because you didn't want to choose one and popping Dexter with your Kitten Canon because you're the bravest kitten in the whole wide world ♥

Coming to Mama's house and wrestling with your big brother Klaus, who learned to wrestle gentle just for you. Climbing my computer chair to sit in my lap while I draw, stealing Klaus' bed the first night you got here and he didn't even mind because he had already fallen in love with you like all of us had ♥

Watching you eat and get bigger was so absolutely beautiful, you absolutely love your fancy feast dinners ♥
And when you tried some of my tuna sandwich you were so excited!

You learned your litter box in three days because you're so so smart.

My sweet little angel baby boy, Papa and I don't even know how to go on without you now, you brought a special light into our lives that felt like a true honest miracle, your little mews, your sweet eyes, little pink nose, your little white ear tips - you were a dream made real, feeling you purr against my hand and chest made me feel like I was finally doing something right in the world.

Coming home from the vet, you sat on my shoulder and looked around so happily, purred right into my ear. ♥

We went straight to Papa's to celebrate you feeling better with a big bowl of formula, the whole wolf pack drinking together in celebration, Papa gave you your first ever treats and you gobbled them down! ♥

We really truly honestly thought we had made it through the worst of it.

You gained a huge family of love so fast that will love you forever and always, We will talk about you, remember you and love you forever and ever and ever. ♥

Papa and I are so deeply and forever grateful for every single second we got with you, for getting one extra day with you after you got sick. We are so thankful for every mew, every scratch we heard on your cardboard box when you woke up and wanted snuggles. We are so deeply grateful you exist, so proud to always call you our son. We love you, Finnegan.

We will always be kissing your little head and giving you chin and cheek scritchies.
You will always be in the palm of our hand purring, held close to our hearts.
