Goalie was such an amazing gift to our family. He was my commuting buddy, went to work with me, slept next to my head or with his rear against my leg, and always craving chicken jerky. He didn't like to be smothered but never wanted to be alone. He disliked being in the heat. In the car, I would have to drive with the sunshade around the passenger side chair so that he was in the shade with the AC on full blast. We will miss him laying down in certain places in the house, looking so peaceful. His read was so funny when going down the stairs, shaking left to right. Goalie thank you for the unconditional love you gave us. Thank you for protecting us in your own way, thank you for the smiles and joy. We love you so much. I know you're aware of how much you were loved. You'll always be our Goalie bear. |
