Things just ain't the same since you've been gone and there isn't a minute of the day that goes by where I don't think about you. I enjoyed every day of the short 5 years that we were able to spend together and I miss you more and more with each passing day. All the fun things we did together, from playing with all of your toys, going for walks together, going for rides in the truck, playing catch, teaching you new tricks, how happy you were whenever you got a new toy or treat, playing in the snow, bedtime cookies, or just sitting together relaxing on the couch, will never be forgotten. Through the good times, the bad times and the sad times, you were always there showing unconditional love and comfort. I wish things could have turned out differently, and you could still be here, but I know that it can't be that way. In my heart I know that you are better now, you are happy again, and that makes me happy :) I love you and miss you terribly Jake..And I know that someday we will be together again.
