As young kittens, Jinx and her siblings were rescued from an animal shelter to different foster homes. Jinx was adopted by Janessa in September 2007. Her brother and sister, Snowy & Sparky, tragically passed away from Feline Infectious Peritonitis. I called Janessa to advise her and unfortunately, little Jinx had been having health problems for a few months. She seemed to get better at times, but she just kept losing weight. Janessa told the vet Jinx's family history and it turned out that she, too, had this dreaded ailment. Janessa said that little Jinx had wanted to go outside in her last days, even though she had never wanted to go out before. Under her ever watchful eye, Janessa let Jinx outside where she enjoyed the sunshine, rolled in the grass and watched the bugs. I'm so grateful that sweet Jinx was surrounded by such love and care in her too-short life. She is now reunited with her brother and sister....playing in the sunshine, rolling in the grass and watching the bugs at the Rainbows Bridge.
