Kobe came to us as a baby 11 years ago and since that time has always been in our hearts. He is the strongest spirited dog and the best friend I could have ever hoped for. He came into my life when I really needed a friend and has been there by my side ever since. Diagnosed with bone cancer, we were given the option to amputate and decided against it. It has been 7 months since then and never a whimper or a cry. Last night he let us know it was time, and we knew. Yes we wanted to be selfish but it it wasn't about us. This was all about him. Rest in peace my friend and we will be together again soon.
