Kona was the true salty dog, diving into the ocean any chance she got and then rolling in the sand. |
Kona's long schnauzer beard could hold a lot of water, countless times she would drink and then walk up to us dripping cold water on our legs. We'd laugh and say stop. She would stop, knowing her beard was going to get a wipe down.
Kona was the best traveler ever. She would hop in the car and ride for miles sometimes trying to call shotgun. She was a polite and well behaved overnight guest whether it be at a hotel or at Samantha's and Bryce's place.
She was the best couch cuddle bug making sure to nudge us repeatedly if we stopped patting her.
Kona would do any trick at all if it involved food that was not a vegetable. :-) We tried to give Kona carrots as a chew snack. She would just put the carrot on the floor and look at with a very depressed expression.
One of Kona's favorite toys? cardboard boxes. She would ignore antlers and other pricey chews for a good old box!
Kona was a love who received a lot of attention. She was my Facebook star! There is a big void in our home. She was loved, loved, loved.
