Memories of Lacey
We met by chance, but was it really. I walked into Petco, not needing a thing, and I spotted you right away. There were 5 dogs sitting there waiting. I looked at you and said, who is this pretty girl. I knelt down and you walked over and licked my entire face. Then you flopped over for a belly rub and I was hooked. I called your Daddy who came right down and together we took you home. I was a little scared how you would react to the cats but we went slow and steady and everyone fell in love. I was especially worried about how Grandma would adjust, but you won her over right away. What can I say baby girl, we took you with us everywhere and everyone loved you. After a few years, we all became couch potatoes, but you were totally fine with that. Actually, you were fine with everything except when it rained and thundered. You were so scared. You always hid in Grandma's bathroom and we would each come and sit with you for awhile. We don't know what happened, why you got sick so fast, but we loved you more than you know, and will never forget you. ❤️
