My dearest sweet Lily left us due to a very serious illness for which there was no treatment. Although I had Lily for such a short time, she became completely entrenched in my heart. Upon rescue from a mean, cold street, I believe I gave her the love and comfort that she so richly deserved. My heart was full of joy the day I picked her up at the shelter, but now I sit here with a broken heart. Divine Intervention brought us together and now she is in her eternal home with her Creator. My many memories of Lily will remain in my heart forever. I thank God for bringing Lily into my life. I will never forget you Lily but I'll miss you until the day we meet again.
