Our sweet girl, We love you and we miss you so much right now and I'm sure this will be for the rest of our lives. Today you said goodbye to us and our hearts are broken 💔. We spent over 18 years together and you my sweet little one stole all our hearts so long ago and replaced it with love, laughter, companionship and so much more. You put up with your hoomans in exchange for endless pet pets, hugs, kisses, belly rubs, tears cried into your soft fur and the coveted occasional cheeseburger....what you gave us in exchange was priceless my sweet, sweet girl you gave us so much love and you were for me the keeper of my secrets and my companion in long walks, car rides, Hoover of the house, lazy days in bed reading books over your sweet little apple head, endless snuggles and doggy glitter galore. You may have been small in stature but in spirit you are huge and your beautiful heart, sweet disposition, silly personality won so many over...our sweet beautiful girl you will be so missed. Lucy lover of life, endless snuggles, endless wet doggy kisses, endless energy, bouncing like a little bunny through the snow, built like a muscle car, Elvis in the house (when her little lip would curl under), master beggar, lover of the cheezzzburger, smuggler of stolen food and occasional candy, secret keeper, master comforter, little heater and companion of our lives, watcher of the stars and the moon, wife to your little moo, beloved child to Jason and me, companion to all of us, eternally grateful we are for the gift of your love, eternally missed you'll be...sleep sweet our precious Lucy. Edit to add: Lucy's guardians/hoomans consisted of not just Jason and myself but also her hooman brother Shawn, Hooman sister Morrigan, Hooman 2nd dad Jon and of course her cat brother Pong and many, many others who loved her as their own.
