My wonderful Marty, I read this poem and it went straight to my heart because this is what I read in your blind eyes that for an instant opened up for me. It was so very hard to come to terms to put an end to your suffering but part of loving is being able to let go. Be free my love.

My sweet dog, tomorrow it will be a week since you left. The house feels so empty. Bob, Spark and I miss you so much. Cant write too much because it makes me so very sad. Maybe later on when the pain has subsided I will write about the wonderful times we had when you were here. Be free sweet Marty.

My lovely dog, don't think that if I don't visit u more often I love u less. It still hurts so much to think of u. Our Sparkys health is not so good these days, but u already know that. Please protect him. Love u so much, Mom
