We adopted our girl when she was just six weeks old. Found out soon after that she had a congenital heart defect. Had it fixed when she was just 4 months old...And we were lucky to have her with us for almost 14 years. She was and is the love of our lives. She was a goofy girl -- would stamp her paws when she was hungry, had puffy lips when she was showing her occasional fresh side. It's just not the same without her.

We moved a lot and she was such a trooper. Took everything in stride. We will always love her with all our hearts,
