Midnight came to us in the most unexpected way one summer evening in 2013 on the Fourth of July. She was catching moths and bugs at our local school and we were encapsulated by her free spirit and her exhilarating energy. We were able to trap Midnight and her baby kitten into safety as she had defended her baby from all the coyotes. We knew immediately that we would keep her because she was so independent, strong and fierce. She always knew what she wanted and if anyone or any of the other animals crossed her, they would always know the way of her paw. Midnight never had a desire to leave our company again and always showed her gratitude towards us. Midnight loved nothing more than cozy movie nights going from lap to lap as well as sitting in the sun bathing on the patio. She always loved catching her catnip mouses and vocalizing that she had them proudly. She was a warrior and a proud girl who loved taking up her space and living with our family. We will miss Midnight tremendously, and we hope she is running, jumping and frolicking, catching more moths and bugs in the meadow. Thank you Midnight for all the love you gave us over all these years. You were a role model for standing up for yourself and living life fearlessly. Till we meet again. ❤️❤️ |
