My favorite memories that I have with Oliver are when he lived with me at college at the college of Charleston in South Carolina. He was so happy there, happier than I have ever seen him. We were attached at the hip, I brought him everywhere with me. Took him to the dog park, took him for long walks, to the beach, swimming, to explore the outdoors and beyond. EVERYBODY loved him. He was a light in everyone's lives that met him. He was such a sweet heart and wanted to make everyone happy, which he did. Oliver, without you I would have never made it through living in Virginia. That was a really hard time for me and I think you knew that too. You kept me positive and worked up the courage to move home. I'm so sorry I couldn't bring you to New York with me, I thought it would be unfair because you have this whole giant yard at home with your other brothers and grandma and grandpa. I'm so glad I spent the last month at home with you. I wish we had a lot longer to spend time together, but every second I spent with you while you were still on this earth was a blessing. I love you more than you can imagine. I would not be where I am today without you. Please watch over and visit me, Ollie. I will be expecting you. I will meet you at the rainbow bridge meadows when it is my time, so please be there waiting for me! I love you so much. Love, |
