I can hardly find the words to adequately describe Pekoe and his kidness and love towards us all. He always ran to greet me after work and wouldnt leave me alone until I gave him scratches. He would always follow me wherever I went. He would lay next to me in bed when I was sleeping and when he was younger he would lie on my chest at night to sleep with me. He would drag his favourite toys around with him meowing at us to play with him and found more happiness in a beer bottle cap on the floor than he did any expensive toys we bought!

He was the loveliest most gentle cat you could ever meet. Always nice to strangers, never hissed or bit or scratched. He loved sitting on the window sill chirping at the birds and was always getting in the way saying hello. He was my first cat and will always hold a special place in my heart.

He brought joy to everyone he met.

Thank you for all the happiness and good memories you brought to me and my family. I will always miss you.

Ye! who behold perchance this simple urn,
Pass on, it honours none you wish to mourn.
To mark a friend's remains these stones arise,
I never knew but one -- and here he lies.
